What a great thread! As far as the ICG standing in the Local Elections I have no idea, maybe they will, maybe they won't. I do however, remember Paul Fisher posting on this site in 2006,in the run up to the locals when I was a candidate for the Labour Party "Chris Boucher and Sue Sampson would attend the opening of an envelope." Of course Paul's recent emergence into all things Isleworth would have no bearing on whether he will stand as an ICG candidate. His recent attendance at The Isleworth Society Meetings, nor his contributions as an "advisor" to the Ivybridge Tenants and Residents Association (even though he lives on the Worple Estate) are obviously from an altruistic point of view and nothing to do with vote gathering. Maybe,to misquote, " When a man is tired of Isleworth, he is tired of life." |
