What a shame that there is no longer going to be funding for this amenity.  I used the toy library nearly 20 yrs ago. As a single parent with very limited income i found this a great way for my son to play with a vast aray of toys that he would not otherwise had access to and also for him to socialise with other toddlers. it also gave me an opportunity to spend time with other adults and other mums in the same situation. In the article on BRENTFORDTW8.COM it says that the annual cost is £15000 a spit in the ocean when you consider what so many parents and children get out of it. Another affordable outing for the poorer and those in need bites the dust.
