Our toddler used the toy library every week when we were in Brentford, and we were hoping to start using it again as and when we're back in the area. First I was very disappointed to hear it might close, and then I was utterly astonished to learn that it had a budget of £15 grand! Now it turns out the majority of that is for venue hire - with five sessions a week, that's £40-£50 per two-hour session, just for hire fees. That might be reasonable for a commercial/personal hire, but for a charity??
