| Don't give up folks When I was a councillor I had the pleasure of being invited to the Hounslow Toy Library and was immediately struck by the amazing work these centres provide and visited many times afterwards to show my support I requested from Officers the amount of any under spends in the Community Funding programme and was both staggered and delighted to be informed there was fifteen thousand Pounds available which was then allocated to them There is always a pot of cash available within the Civic Centre either through small grants or Community funding and even thousands available from unspent S106 monies from local developments Put pressure on your local councillors now to get this matter on the next Area Forum agenda as I believe there is a meeting this Thursday and to examine before its too late the S106 unspent monies list Good luck |
