| This is terrible news the toy Library is so well used every week! My family have been using this resource each week for over nine years and still do every week.It is a valuable part of the local community very welcoming to families and their children from a variety of backgrounds. It is a place where children can play safely ,make friends socialise and enhances their all round development.It also provides parents/carers with a place to play with their children with a wide range of toys ,borrow toys to play with at home and a place to meet other parents/carers to share advice,tips ,worries and make new friends. Brentford toy library also plays a role in many local community events. If the toy library closes many families will be left with no where to take their children......nowhere else locally offers all these valuable things and many children and their families will suffer without such a valuable resource.I feel all the local councilors should be helping to secure funding for such a worthwhile amenity.It is a place all families can go and is not means tested so does not exclude any family!!!! Brentford will defenitley not BE BRILLIANT for the under fives and their families if this valuable resource closes. |
