| I really don't like those things, mind you the fact that I'm a bit of a technophobe doesn't help.. The thing that really grates me about them is that I don't use plastic bags I take my own, and it won't let me put my items straight into my bags, you just get 'PLACE ITEM IN THE BAGGING AREA' repeated at you like some kind of bossy toddler, forcing me to balance my items precariously one on top of the other like tetris until I've finished my shopping and it permits me to remove them. Still, I suppose it's useful if you're buying anything embarrassing like hemorrhoid cream, lube, or the greatest hits of Meat Loaf CD.. (it was for a friend I swear..) |
