What do others think of the trend towards scanning your own groceries in shops? It seems to have taken on an almost dictatorial role in Tesco with an assistant pratically dragging customers over to use the blasted things. I object and would rather queue as I am sick and tired of machines doing things rather than humans, the daft things don't work on everything anyway and it will mean job losses. If Tesco and others want people to do this shouldn't they get a discount??? I have witnessed several lively exchanges between assistants and customers who are proving quite resistant, one young lady had the cheek to say to one man you have to learn!! Er - I think not! |
