Apparently anything with a security tag - DVD etc. can't go through these. Also people leave money in them, saw a fiver left in one which the bloke behind me in the queue who was trying to explain why he resented being bullied into using one, snaffled! I guess for a one off item they are O.K. if there is a queue, but it is the attitude of the staff there which is 'you will do this or I'll want to a good excuse why you won't' that grates. I have joined the ranks of the grey resistance now, I also noticed a tendency for people using the self service to use plastic bags rather than their own, a retrograde step that needs watching surely?
