Gosh so the Marks is still there!  I haven't been for ages and expected it to have closed and been turned into flats by now. Is the TK Maxx still there?

We took a couple of old computers to Greenford which I think really should have gone to Park Royal where they were upgrading computers.  So many of these ventures though seem to be part of the grab-a-grant system that the Govts now run and close after a while.  I don't think that was there during Covid which was when so many children suffered because they did not have access to computers to do their work on when their parents were also having to work from home using the shared phone, tablet or computer and so fell behind those who did.

Stirling Road is being used OCCASIONALLY for some new and special ventures now - NOT what it was used for before.  The Ealing Repair Cafe which helps teach people how to mend items particularly clothing seems to be successful.  Since I used to work with a manager who threw away his shirts when he lost a button many years ago I think this is very welcome and necessary!  My FIL who was much older was in the army and was a lot more able to mend things than most younger people now seem to be.
