So what's your alternative, Vanessa, with your knowledge and experience as a councillor (albeit you ceased that in 2002) what would you prefer?
Use Ballymore, or Topland, or Berkeley who are commercial developers active hereabouts? Or Essential Living who were the original buyers of the Morrisons site and who planned to develop it to be 100% private rentals?
Or some other Housing Association? I deal with them all the time and I have yet to find one that causes no problems for their tenants and complaints about them make a sizeable chunk of my inbox (though private landlords, especially small ones, are much much worse)
