| I agree that many of the blocks of flats represent over-development. But The Ballymore development one near us does seem to be more ambitious, bringing in lots of interesting new retail (cinema, pub, restaurant, deli, new Morrisons) as well as lots of public realm open space. The ones round the new Bees stadium (and lots of the next phase ones) just seem like lots of little stacked boxes with very little public space. And what about GPs? We'll be fine for coffee shops and nail bars but what about schools, parks and transport? |
