Battery Recycling I too use a small battery tester to check batteries. We found that batteries are often changed in a hurry and it is good to know whether it is the machine in question or the batteries which are the problem - so we can test random batteries found on dressing table tops etc. FIL being blind could not deal with rechargeable ones for his magnifier so we ended up using ordinary ones. Because of the state of his sight they were only good for a very short time ie not as long as they would be for someone not registered blind. Yes it may come as a surprise to many that to be registered blind you can see something. It's a big learning curve. |
