We have found out from a combination of council officers and local gossip that the horses have been granted a lease for another six months. Clearly it is too far beneath our councillors to actually keep us informed, far better to blame everyone and anyone else rather than do their job properly. This was done in collusion with The Dear Leader - yes - the very one who wrote that very public letter saying that this wouldn't happen and a working party would be set up to consult local residents. The same Dear Leader who also assured the Local Government Ombudsman that this was all going to take place. Knowing the fuss that there has been you would think - as any right thinking person would - that transparency and straight talking should be the order of the day and all efforts to at least pretend that we live in a democracy would be used. Well, we were all wrong there, chicanery, fudge, omission, silence and lies are still alive and well in Isleworth. By God, Jeremy Corbyn's got hell of a job to do with this shower.
