| I must confess I hadn't clocked that Hamilton rd/Westbury Place WON'T be part of the new arrangement, and some residents have asked to be included. So the whole thing has to start again for those two streets to homogenise the entire area. On the one hand, it's a complete waste of time, on the other, they started it by applying for their own CPZ. That allowed the council the foot in the door it needed to introduce restrictions in the whole area, In the meantime, there'll be restrictions at different times in adjacent streets, confusing signs and, of course, cost implications. For the record, I voted against the CPZ, but once one arrived in one street, the rest have no choice but to follow- parking round here is becoming very difficult. |
