Oh yes David, you are right ..where my parents live, 2 nearby roads have had CPZ for a year approx, and the cars park in my parents road, hence their eagerness for CPZ in their road. I agree, all or nothing..but I know of someone who uses a public road as a kind of garage, repairing cars in the road, therefore a permit would put a stop to it..probably the old story of a few ruining it for others.
