I completely agree. We should be aspiring gently towards the Finnish approach rather than following the current neoliberal approach which seems to be favoured by all parties. Gently, because the last thing we need is another revolution a la Gove.
I hope the next Labour government will have seen the light by the time it takes power in 2015 and I'm very hopeful that our new local MP - Ruth Cadbury - will be on board.
