It's a very long and interesting read but does not really reflect reality. It's number crunching and opinions of paid commentators. The UK appears to do well but all the data collated is averages for the UK and does not reflect local circumstances. Education standards in Scotland are far higher as they are in many smaller affluent towns around the UK. It's good in some London Boroughs, Hounslow being one of the more consistent. It also only reflects schooling in terns of state funding - and we are low on the list but some countries that spend less are higher on the achievement scale. It does not cover other aspects of school life and education, discipline and social skills, morality and so on.
