| Don't think I disagree with you Claire, I just thought someone (and as the resident expert I guess I'm that someone) should set out the legal context. Although I must have walked through there countless times I don't think I have done since it was restored and I certainly haven't seen what has now replaced it. At risk of incurring everyone's wrath personally speaking I think the blue railings shown on Sarah's post aren't exactly attractive or could be seen to enhance the Conservation Area, but presumably after being restored they did, and of course like you say they are part of the historic background of the Conservation Area. |
