| Yesterday a long queue for the Bank. and the rest of the parade with just a few wandering about, and a few in the Verdict. Putting a Bus Lane in for less than 80metres has all but killed the passing trade and the Bus Lane is completely pointless so close to a 2 lane junction where the bus has to leave the bus lane. Apart from the fact that barely anyone is on a bus. It's the meddling that is amplifying the problems along with no contingency planning towards keeping things ticking over. Seems the only people doing that are all the local groups fixing up little events trying to get people out. Ultimately it proves that Brentford does not have a Town Centre, just a few blips here and there. |
