| I've been working locally this week and had to go up and down Brentford High street several times during the day. I wonder how any shops are still in business. It's completely dead. Quite shocked as the last time I was working in the vicinity during the lockdown it was busier! It was not long before I asked a couple of shops open. They are all on their last knockings. Simply lost all Passing trade. No buses stopping most of the time to the point that no-one takes a chance to use the local stops as they are closed so often. No parking whatsoever and all the possible parking is occupied. Alternative parking for passing trade is too far away for those quick in and out purchases and no signs advertising free parking and where. Plenty of signs for no stopping though. What a complete shambles. |
