Having read a number of points on this discussion, I wondered why the below section of the LBH plan seems to have been ignored? "Supporting a limited number of tall buildings in Brentford town centre. These should be carefully designed and sensitively placed so as not to have a significant adversely impact on the setting of, views from and between heritage assets including Royal Botanic Gardens Kew World Heritage Site, Syon Park and the Thames foreshore landscape. They should also respect and respond to the area’s special townscape and heritage value" A few participants seem focused on the point about 4-6 storey buildings, glossing over the fact there is a clear statement that taller buildings are permitted. As I understand it taller buildings have been approved as part of the wider Ballymore planning application. Just interested to hear why the above is seemingly irrelevant? Thanks |
