I'm pretty sure that I had one of those text reminders which you could use to cancel an appointment, if needed, for a recent appointment at Charing Cross. West Middlesex is in the same group as Charing Cross (Imperial?) so maybe they'll start using this system too. Still on my phone I have such a message from Ashford Hospital.
