This is the Plan following years of litigation in the mid 19thC, illustrating the Brent tributaries to be filled in [marked with X’s]. You can see that by this time the northern junctures with the Brent/Grand Union Canal had already been filled in to some extent.
Curious to see that the 'Turnover Bridge' had already been built at this stage, replacing the wooden swing bridge that had been damaged in the great flood of 1841.
