| A one half of one per cent reduction in Council Tax is pathetic. It really won't make any difference to the residents that pay the tax. What we really need is a more effective administration in the London Borough of Hounslow composed of elected Councillors with successful experience of controlling costs and delivering better services either in the public or private sectors. The current Labour administration is incompetent as shown by the mismanagement of Hounslow Homes, Hounslow Highways and the ridiculous decision to put private profit before the public interest in the case of the proposed Lionel Road Overdevelopment on the Brentford/ Chiswick border. |
