| Hello everyone, I have been reading with great interest previous forum posts about the Great West Road and its fascinating history. I rent storage space at the 'Space Maker' building (983 Great West Road), which is at the back of 'West Link House' the Carillion building (No 981), or, what I understand was originally the old Pyrene factory. Please, can anybody tell me what the old 'Space Maker' building used to be? Could it have been part of the original Pyrene factory as it is situated directly behind 981? Is it the old Oil demonstration depot that Pyrene built? I would be most grateful if anybody could shed some light for me. Thank you in advance. |
