| Thank you for your replies- I have looked up the book you recommend, unfortunately it is not available in my local library in Richmond, so I will have to take a special trip to Brentford when I get a minute. Do you think then that the building as part of Pyrene originally? I have asked many people about the building and had various reports- including that it used to be a carpet warehouse/factory. Inside there is a huge industrial lift still in operation. I have searched archived planning applications via the Hounslow council website without any luck, and also asked the manager at Space Maker but he was uninterested and had no idea of the history of the building despite having worked there for years. |
