For starters..here is a picture of the rear of the old Pyrene premises..as it is today. The expert on the History of the Great West Road is Mr James Marshall who published the book of the same name. He works at Chiswick Reference Library ...best to phone perhaps. His "rare" book now sells for as much as £80 -£100! and a copy can be found at Brentford Library's reference section.
