If Watermans moves it will almost certainly have no car park, no bus link from Ealing and Kingston and no bums on seats. It is not terribly well patronised by Local residents in comparison to where most come from. Also original Brentford Runs to Kew Bridge so Watermans is effectively on the edge of the town centre anyway. Although it has a far from ideal building it is a riverside facility for a town that is founded as a riverhead. Public access is being eroded and whatever Watermans gets if it moves will be far less than it has now. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Move it and it will simply die. |
