| I'm not sure why I, or any other individual should be in talks with anyone. These roadworks are at the behest of Thames Water and surely it is they who should have done all the contacting and talking to interested/affected parties before work commenced. Although there have been a couple of evening meetings organised in Brentford, how many people were able to attend I have no idea. I would have thought that Thames Water and/or LBH should be the people involved with the powers that be at WMUH. I can't see the Police providing traffic wardens to stand around on site waiting for an emergency vehicle. These roadworks were planned at very short notice as I understand it, and from what I know there are quite a few people on this Forum who could have quite possibly organised this far better singlehandedly, second thoughts make that anyone in the queue at Tesco, or my cat. But no - as usual we have a shambles, no change there then. |
