| Lets forget the about the £190 million that Lord (C)Ashcroft should have paid if he had kept his word over the changes he was supposed to have made to his tax status whilst a sitting MP. You can call the £5.5million a donation if you like but I see it differently. It sucks that this person, not content to pay a pittance in tax, whilst he, as a sitting as a MP stashes cash oversees probably gets tax relief on his political donations. It sucks that such a man is in the Lords, unelected and voting on how the rest of us should live, work and be taxed. It sucks that not content with his extremely privileged position he should be pumping cash into a party and politicians in the lower house where issues such as his own taxes and laws governing it are formed. Basically Lord (C)Ashcrofts role in British political issues SUCKS!!! |
