Why??? should any donations made by Lord Ashcroft be repaid, although a Non-Dom he pays Income Tax on monies earned and accrued in the UK other business's abroad are tax paid to individual countries, why??? should these donations be unacceptable, Lord Paul Labour claimed expenses of 38000 Pounds on a flat that he had never stayed in and got away with it on a technicalty that was introduced last month by Mr.Pownall of the House of Lords wereby they do not have to stay but just visit one day per month therefore because of this they have all gotten away with fraud, it's only the conservatives who have paid back the whole, Lord Paul only pays tax here on his UK business just the same as Lord Ashcroft, so before you vilify Lord Ashcrofts donations of 5.5 Million over a period of 10 years, remember that Lord Paul paid for Gordon Browns Selection Campaign and was last year rewarded with a seat on the Privy Council this position is generally only for MP's the Speaker of the House,Archbishop,Judges or anyone who has done something spectacular, remember Lord Levy same thing. |
