| There have been cases where contractors have been re-charged for damage caused when driving over pavements, however, they need to be observed actually doing so. Similarly with people without vehicular crossovers who drive onto their property, as I recall the legislation that covers that is from the Victorian period when vehicles were horse drawn. Councils have never had enough staff required to be on the spot at the time, let alone now when they've cut through the staff with their long knives. |
