| This is digressing from why cars are charged on engine emissions. This is why we pay road tax. A parking permit is just that. Vehicle physical size is a reasonable way to charge. And the prices are increasing above what was proposed. The fact that residents don’t vote on mass does not give the council cart blanche. We as residents should also get to reverse vote once something like this is implemented. After all this is about our living standards and welfare, right? Not just wallets on wheels? |
