| But Anne's right. Usually it's a warning of what is being considered and not necessarily the completely final version so you are asked for your views on it. If you don't have a good reason why not and don't reply then you are presumed to not be bothered. Replying doesn't mean that it won't happen but it hopefully may mean that if anything in the situation has not been thought about then that will be considered. The fact that many motorists don't know the Highway Code and seem incapable of keeping to a speed limit is a good reason to try and get even more calming measures especially around schools. |
