| I’m not sure why you seem to think this was a clever budget. It’s going to leave a lot of people worse off over the next few years, even those on low incomes whom we are told Labour want to help. Squeezing businesses is counterproductive. Have you not noticed the unemployment figures? More people out of work = more benefits = less tax. Not to mention the social cost and toll on mental health. |
