| There’s a video on the Brentford TV Facebook page showing Shantanu Rajawat’s speech praising Guy Lambert at the week’s council meeting. Poor Lambert is so overcome with emotion he can’t bring himself to even glance at his leader during the heartfelt encomium. Instead he stares mournfully at his laptop, body half turned away from Rajawat. Surely if he’d voluntarily stepped down from cabinet he would have at least acknowledged the speech. Maybe he was thinking about the twenty grand drop in allowance he now has?! Or maybe he’s got the hump about being kicked out of cabinet? He really should let everyone know. |
