| It’s an oft used trick by authorities. Reclassify things, remove the requirements to do things, move the goalposts. Ealing managed to cut its housing list by almost 6,000 by simply removing a band from the list, the people it deemed as having no chance of ever being housed. The Council of the Year awards are laughable. Authorities present their case with little or no supporting documentation. Clearly not much scrutiny of other issues by the assessment panel. Just a big self congratulatory shindig. |
