| One suspects that his stepping down came before he was pushed. He’s part of the old guard and perhaps didn’t really align with his new leader. Patronage is everything in politics and a lucrative and powerful cabinet post will be a useful for Shantanu Rajawat to bolster his position. At least lambert will now have more time to make a more direct contribution to Brentford life, as his litter picking shows. As long as there are no ‘Tories’ to hinder him! |
