| It is indeed a commercial arterial road that does not follow the Bath Road. It leads south West to Twickenham, Teddington while the A4 and A30 lead west and south west at a further point. Thats why the 3 in 316 is linked to the 3 in 316 = Points south west. 4 Designates west and north west . The M4 is a relief for the A4 but the A315 does not have a relief road and is a key arterial road. So who changed that? It still carried heavy commercial traffic and core bus routes which do not parallel the A4 . All ignored by bl***y minded ignorance. and very much why so much industry has moved away and will continue to move away. |
