| Brilliant observation, I am still awaiting something from the cabinet member for parking for the alternative method of payment for those of us without a mobile 'phone. I absolutely point blank refuse to accept that we have to have this nonsense imposed on us. Same thing with these bloody self service tills in shops - exactly who consulted their customers? Also the current debacle about rail ticket offices, so I say any of us who are having our lives blighted by this should complain, loudly and often. If a shop won't open a till with a human to serve you, leave your shopping where it is and walk out, and tell them why. Meanwhile I shall not be able to park in any car park run by Hounslow council because they obviously don't give a stuff, they were aware of the fact not everyone would be able to use their ridiculous 'cashless parking' system but did it anyway. 'Listening council' anyone? |
