Having been a shopper at Morrisons for nearly 30 years, I decided to try out the new car park under their new store in the high street. I parked in a designated space and made my way up to the store for about 45 minutes spending about £80. I received a parking QR voucher from the checkout which I used to validate my parking (free for 90 minutes) 36 hours later I was sent a £100 PCN from the managers (Parking and property management) I returned to the carpark on foot to see if I had missed something about the space I parked in but it was OK. There was a chap supervising the parking machines who took my details and told me not to worry as a lot of people were having the same problem getting the Morrisons QR voucher to work. I appealed the fine explaining clearly what had happened expecting it all to be rectified but instead had my appeal swiftly rejected, so pay up or things will get worse. I will not be using this car park again, so it's goodbye Morrisons i'm afraid. |
