I lived in the area in the early-mid 80's (Milson Road W14) and the car lot was an actual working car lot nearby which (presumably) was rented out for filming. From memory, I reckon it was on Masbro Road(?), which is a small side street just about half way between Shepherds Bush Greem and Olympia. Everyone knew Hammersmith Bridge from the opening credits etc, but it was quite exciting to be able to show Arfur's garage off to friends and family visiting from outside London, since 'Minder' was absolutely huge back then. |
