| My Primary scholl was near Nottinghill and for our games/sports we would be taken by coach to Colet Court (possibly the old St Pauls prep school mentioned by Michael). Now exclusive flats at 157 Hammersmith Rd. There was some large skips by the side of the main buildings and we would often go rummaging through them as we knew they were items used for filming. I had a load of old Minder and Sweeney scripts at one time which made for some great reading. My mum wasn't too impressed with my collection and alas threw them all out. Might have been worth a couple of quid these days. Where i lived in Nottingdale was also an area regularly used for filming the Sweeney and Professionals. A few years later on my paper round around Holland Park i found John Thaw was a customer. A Lovely man as i remember - tipped at xmas. |
