| Guy Lambert - I have resisted the urge to use personal language in this debate - but are you happy spreading such dishonesty? Where was the publicity for this "event" on the 18th - do you think it possible that so few people attended due to the fact that no-one knew about it? I would have attended, but had no idea how. It is obvious by just reading this forum that there is deep opposition to the LTN schemes in Hounslow and adjoining boroughs. For you to pretend there is no dissent by simply not listening to the majority of the people affected, is the worst kind fraudulent behaviour. If you think that your view is reflected in the ward you represent, then arrange a survey to ask the question - this has not been done yet and so you have no mandate to enforce these changes. I would be happy to accept the results of a fair referendum - would you, or will you continue to reject any view that doesn't match yours? Even Trump will soon have to accept he has lost electoral support - will you ever? |
