| Yes I have to say I don't think Councils can do much more in this regard (although I do think bins in parks etc. should be emptied more frequently) as it all comes down to people and realistically this is never going to be something that enforcement is going to solve/deter. I do think (and it is just a personal opinion) the likes of McDonalds and KFC feel they are unfairly tarred with the same brush just because of who they are - many times I've sparred with Councillors (and many members of the public) who want to welcome Joe Bloggs Fish & Chips with open arms because Joe has lived locally for 25 years, but are outwardly hostile to the big multinationals, even though in planning terms they are one and the same. |
