"the compactor, not the operatives are responsible for the amount of litter." That may well be regarding the emptying of wheelie bins but I haven't seen that myself. In our case, it is the operatives carrying the green boxes or white bags to the lorry who are responsible for the litter being dropped before it reaches its destination. They are well aware of bits and pieces falling out of the boxes or bags but they just ignore it. |
