| The reason we failed Sarah was because we were obstructed constantly by Officers from the Environment Dept who did not dare take on the might of Thames Water and these same Officers have still got highly paid jobs with Hounslow What we did though was 100% support MRAG who took their own action against Thames Water at the High Court and won hundreds of thousands of pounds in compensation for residents who were affected and yet the new Administration in 2010 completely blanked the victory and instead bent over even further in allowing the stench to continue At the Planning Committe I mentioned earlier I forgot to add that it was our very own Ruth Cadbury who proposed approval for the expansion despite the numerous warnings that the stench would increase and who has since walked away from the whole matter which affects so many of her constituents |
