Guy, I suspect some of the accusations made by Mr. Waller like the one above, could also be asked of this government. I'd certainly like to know how G4S and Crapita etc. keep getting very lucrative government contracts when they manage to constantly balls up so many they've already have. It just goes on and on, I shudder to think how much money has been thrown away on grandiose I.T. schemes for the public sector given to private companies. For what it's worth I think Housing Assns. are pretty cr*p landlords and for all their faults local authorities are much better (leaving aside ALMOS). Anyway Mr. Waller is quite entitled to request an FOI on this from Hounslow Council as you have pointed out, let's see what happens, or will this be another load of hot air and wild, unfounded and biased nonsense? |
