| The $64000 question is are people really taken in by this demonising of people who - through no fault of their own probably - have had to take lower paid, perhaps zero hours contract work or have had to claim some sort of benefit? If I hear the phrase 'hard-working families' once more I shall throw up. The vast majority of people ARE hard working, the fact is they are constantly being treated like cr*p. The government works on the principle that if they say something often enough then the electorate will believe it - and what is so sad is, they're right. Divide and rule. |
