I suppose it depends on whether it's directly outside your house and if you work from home as I do, you get to look at it all day. Last night was the first night on LEDs. Much brighter than the sodium ones and in our bedroom we have blinds not curtains, so quite unpleasant. The sodium brightness/intensity was tolerable, I think we'll have to put curtains in. But you are right, I do like a moan. What sparked it off was the lamp post guys parking over my driveway preventing me going out for about two hours. They were from the staring-into-the-hole school of council workers.
